Gorjana’s Gorgeous Comfy-Chic Accessories

By Millie

I often describe my personal style as “comfy-chic.” I seek out clean lines, high-quality materials, and simple, flattering, timeless designs, but I still love to show off my cool “finds” and stand out from the crowd. Enter Gorjana, creator of the perfect accessories for the comfy-chic gal like me.

Started literally on the floor of their apartment in 2004 by an adorable wife/husband pair, Gorjana (and their men’s line, Griffin) has quickly become a well-known, respected contributor to the accessories scene.  Time spent on both the East and West Coasts has fueled a laid-back (think Cali-cool), yet polished (think Manhattan-sophisticated) design aesthetic that is evident in all of their collections.  Come to think of it, as a California native who has spent time on the East Coast, perhaps this is why Gorjana appeals so much to me!

Here are a few of my faves from Gorjana.

Bleeker Tote

Bleeker Tote
: Offered in a rainbow of supple leathers, there’s a Bleeker Tote for every outfit and occasion. The Bleeker is the perfect work bag, big enough to hold all your essentials for the office, but chic enough to make a cameo at a bar or nice dinner on your way home.

Charm Necklaces

Charm Necklaces: The charm necklace is basically the official necklace of comfy-chic women everywhere. Gorjana’s got something for everyone, from the simple, geometric Finley, to the subtle Alphabet Shimmer Disc, to the sparkly Aurora.  These necklaces look great on their own, and also layer wonderfully.

Bali, Bloom Disc, and Graham Bracelets: Any bracelet from Gorjana’s collection can be worn alone as an everyday favorite.  But to add a little punch to your outfit, try layering them.  The signature Graham bracelet (far right) is my personal favorite for justifying those jeans-and-a-t-shirt days.

So, whether you like to rock the comfy-chic look everyday, or you just try it on from time to time, ask your stylist to include some of these pieces in your next CakeStyle box!
