Stripes

By Sara

Stripes never seem to go out of style, and this season is no exception. We’ve seen many different takes on stripes this fall, from bold blanket stripes, to tribal stripes, to classic striped sweaters. And while most people go for horizontal patterns, elongated stripes can mix things up and slim you down. There are so many variations on the stripe trend, so it will be easy to find something that suits your style. We’ve lined up a few of our favorites from the CakeStyle inventory below:

  • Tracy Reese Ribbon Stripe Fiesta Skirt

    $168 www.cakestyle.com

Who said stripes had to be straight lines? This patterned skirt turns traditional stripes on their head. We love the combination of patterns and pleats. Pair it with a light, solid color shirt and tights for a great business casual look.

  • C&C California Striped Cut-Out Top

    $84 www.cakestyle.com

If you can’t decide what type of stripe to go for, try a blouse that mixes more than one. With its combination of thick and thin stripes, this top adds a bit of flair to a classic look.

  • Saako Stripe Neckwrap

    $66 www.cakestyle.com

Accessories can have stripes, too! Make any outfit stand out with this chic neck wrap. It looks great with any solid color dress or sweater.

  • Tracy Reese Jagged Stripe Knit Dress

    $388 www.cakestyle.com

Tracy Reese is queen of combining stripes with other patterns, and this sophisticated mix of stripes and chevron is no exception. Wear it with a pair of tights to the office, or sport it with some heels for a night out on the town.
